The Australian Open Day 2

Tuesday 18 before heading to the tennis courts, we decided to go for a ride to Melbourne's Docklands, since last year we had not had time to see this neighborhood.

around 9 am so it's part for a small walk to Flinders Station to take the free tram from Melbourne. Everyone we had spoken well and I wanted nothing more than try ;-)

Full of charm the City Circle Tram is free and is mainly set up for tourists. And to do as others and yes we too loved it!

So we stopped to Bourke St and walked calmly towards Docklands Park, through the Victoria Harbour. The weather was overcast in the morning and unfortunately there was plenty of work throughout the district was not been transcended, although we noted that the area must be very nice for those who work with the marina side cafes and small quiet terrace.

To return to the center we crossed the Bridge Web - very original! and quietly went along the Yarra River and enjoyed a coffee on the terrace.

past noon it was time to join the tennis courts and enjoy the Australian Open. Once at Federation Square, we enjoyed being a customer at the bank ANZ to be driven to the tennis courts by a mode of transportation very nice. Consider:

The day was then held as before under the sun and good mood.

Starting with a drive of Maria Sharapova that we have, let's face it, found much less fun than any other player - or even unpleasant to his fans, but good.

We then went to support the French Vincent Millot (160th), which faced the No. 11 Jurgen Melzer. The match was unfortunately not surprised with the victory of J. Melzer, despite our encouragement.

Then No. 5, with Oliver we went fervently encourage the French Alize Cornet at the 83rd World Tournament but was 11th World in February 2009. She faced the American Coco Vandeweghe (116th).

Match fairly easy to Alize Cornet, we were delighted to see her win this first match of the tournament. Easy, but this does not prevent us to endure to the end!

Then we headed straight to the Margaret Court Arena to get good seats for late afternoon games are:
Robin Soderling (No. 4)-Potito Starace (Italy - 50th)
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (No. 13) Philipp Petzschner (German - 57th)

match against Robin Soderling Potito Starace unsurprisingly, with Soderling which appears solid and easy in everything he undertakes.

And finally the match of the day for us French Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (No. 13) against Philipp Petzschner. Top
tough match for Tsonga 2set led to 0, the atmosphere was electric with a large number of French in public. Everyone sang and shouted support for Tsonga that fans are French or not!
This may have helped, it is not known in any case, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga went for the win in 5sets to our great joy!
